Same as Mari's earlier venture, this also has impactful scenes and powerful characters. The problem is they are very few and too much of masala for Mar's standard. This is tailor made story for Udhayanidhi and Mari did lot of compromise for this purpose. The first half scenes are very impactful, at the same time they are very lengthy. Over this, they added slow motion sequences. Another let down is the antagonist characterisation. Fahad looks like 80s villain and all his sequences are highly predictable. Last but not least: Thevar magan Esakki character is much more genuine than this Maamannan.
