As a movie it is below average but I cant rate it low just because the topic they took to discuss with backdrop of God. That boldness and some solid message make me rate on higher side. This is definitely should not be rated as A, it should be PG or UA. Highly recommended to watch as parent-kid. The God factor and helping with hints are Ok, but the court arguments are very outdated. The ultimate backbone is supposed to be the court arguments, but it is not as satisfactory. Most of the court scenes are just one sided argument without much logic. One time watchable.

The movie is solid drama and delivers the much needed social message. Lot of good dialogs and all characters done their job very well. As usual Cheran's over acting helped some time and irritates most of the time. The second half sequences are more or less like masala movie, not authentic one. It failed to show the confronts, instead it shows the revenge feeling only. The court scenes are not even close to serial drama. The arguments and Judge comments are like two friends arguing about the social issue in social media. If they put more logic to the court scenes, it would have more solid one.

Same as Mari's earlier venture, this also has impactful scenes and powerful characters. The problem is they are very few and too much of masala for Mar's standard. This is tailor made story for Udhayanidhi and Mari did lot of compromise for this purpose. The first half scenes are very impactful, at the same time they are very lengthy. Over this, they added slow motion sequences. Another let down is the antagonist characterisation. Fahad looks like 80s villain and all his sequences are highly predictable. Last but not least: Thevar magan Esakki character is much more genuine than this Maamannan.

The title is so opt for this movie. The title is used very well in the last part of court argument and delivered impactful social message. Just because of these last 45 minutes portion, we need to bear the first half. I felt there is enough fun moments in the first half. Other than that the scenes and situation are not looks logical and felt so unrealistic. Kunchako performance is great but his chanracter transformation is so illogical. Is he selfish/cunning/kind/innocent/brilliant/dumb? Because he shown all these shades from the beginning to end. He is transforming from one dumb thief to brilliant criminal lawyer towards end. At one point his life is in threat and another point he is free. Looks like the screenplay is so jarred and felt so disjointed.

This one is real hidden gem of Tamil cinema. Adjust the little bit of serial drama kind of making, then you will really enjoy this movie. The first half is like multiple funny short stories are stitched together. Some worked out very well and some fall as thud. The second half is full and full serious note. The cast and reservation was analysed and presented to user from multiple point of views without any biased manner. This should be watched with generation of people (grandpa, father and son) and I believe everyone will agree and enjoy this movie. The biggest strength of this movie is dialogs. They are so sharp and simple. It helped and elevated the scenes in both first half and second half of the movie. The cherry on top is the character revelation done in the end credit scene. Must watch with kids.

Must watch for the content and the issue taken for analysis. The issue is explained very well and with simple dialogs. Lot of scenes shows the pain of the people and the reasons for not trusting the government. Loved the dialogs, this is the biggest strength of this movie. The biggest negative is that the screenplay misses the crispness and it slowed down in lot of places. Some scenes are repeated and felt like too long movie.

Still the movie is watchable because of the dialogs and the twisted events on the screenplay. The small budget and Maran guts are really appreciate-able factors in this movie. superb dark comedy on "the political view of Armageddon"...the cast and their delivery gives huge impact to the dark comedy flavour in lot of scenes... Meryl Streep is on fire on each and every scene...The sad truth is it could become true in this era.... The best part is that the movie is serious and at the same time so hilarious... I enjoyed this thoroughly...

The time loop concept is regionalised superbly. They added nice mass masala and the repeated scenes are handled cleverly. Its definitely the comeback movie for both STR and VP. And cherry on the top is SJ Surya. I cant imagine anyone on his Role. He is so comic and con at the same time. After second half the sequences between STR and SJ are high level entertainment points of the movie... it has its own drawback also like templated time loop sequences, bit slow pace in the first half and bit lengthy action sequences... Still the movie is entertaining to the core. Worth the watch

Good story and very good first half... the villains are powerful and hero is solid calm in the first half. When hero become active the villains become idiots and calm in the second half.... If they managed little bit IQ of villains, this would be very good masala entertainer with powerful climax... Because of very week second half this whole movie looked like half backed... Vijay Antony is total misfit for the second half. The dialog and his body language is not at all suit for the character... One time watchable for the good story and very good first half.

All the characters are presented with high intelligence in some scenes and total idiots in other scenes, so cant get any connection with any characters... Easily skippable one.
