The film was genuinely shocking, primarily due to its basis on a real-life incident, which heightened the tension throughout. The sequences of scenes had the potential to unfold in various directions, yet they followed a linear path of misfortune, possibly due to the interweaving of multiple real life incidents. At a certain juncture, the accumulation of wrong turns became overwhelming and detracted from the movie's realistic factor. However, the character who emerged in the climax to salvage the situation provided a sense of relief. It's worth watching once to gain awareness of such peculiar situations.

First we need to appreciate the director for choose this subject and stick to the authenticity as close as possible. That too with all new faces. It is so impressive. And it worked and gave lot of awe moments throughout the movie.... Now come to negatives - Please lower your expectations. This is not a great entertainer and war sequences are so repetitive. The story is wafer thin and they tried the magic with the ancient touch. The camera work is great and locations are fine. But that also get repetitive more. Lower your expectation, you might like it.

Mani concluded the epic with proper first part and the ending of part one is classic. The second part start was awesome and added some extra flashbacks to add more strength to the core plot. The production values, the presentation and the acting was class. Mani and other writers brilliance were seen in lot of scenes where it was difficult to image while reading the novel. The Killing sequence were captured in nice and simple way. It was bit complicated in novel. Now to the negatives: Looks like more positive shades added to Nandini character than the first part. Kundavai and ArulMozhi chnaracters are bt compromised. Lot of illogical side stories added like the war sequences. The climax, no one will agree on it... I agree if we extend we need one more part to taken, but it looks like disgusting to see the climax....(novel readers can understand, others cant understand this, sorry) Rahuman dubbing is pathetic. By forgetting novel, we can enjoy this movie... Recommended for the effort and output.

Wow, this is for the making and cast. The acting and making is marvellous. The transformation of mute to musical cinema was so awesomely captured. The camera is not rested in one place it is moving constantly through out the movie. The length is too much but I enjoyed the each and every frame of this presentation. Especially the starting introductory scenes for Robbie and Diego into the Hollywood is breathtaking. Brad Pitt put the cherry on top to this scene with perfect kiss on superb backdrop. The climax movie hall scene is intense, must watch for every movie lovers.

This movie has all best aspects, cast, production value, music and decent story. But somewhat failed to present it to viewer in entertaining way. There are multiple good scenes, but that is not enough to make this as a full fledged entertainer. Because of too many conversation and too many side stories, this one looked like the dragged drama. If they stick to main plot and shortened the side stories, it would have been more crispier. The great cast definitely makes me to sit through this fully, else I would have switched to something else. One time watchable.

Movie is faithful to the book and author. They made the real classic with enough class and mass moments. If you read the book, you can enjoy every hidden things, if not still you can enjoy this epic with its majestic presentation. The songs are choreographed very well and most of the songs over in the first half itself. The placement of the songs are so good and they didnt break the flow. The camera work is so good, whether war scene or horse race, everything is captured so well and each and every frame is so class even with difficult angles. the best example is Karkalan forgiving the Rashtrakoodan scene from his horse. This is real milestone in Tamil cinema, Mani Ratnam did it without any compromise. The Pazhuvettaiyar anger towards Kundavai, Nandini interaction with other characters, Kundavai Vanthiyathevan first love are not shown...They omitted all this because of Movie and its timing. The only disappointment was Poonkulali character intro missing. My biggest worry while watching the movie was, "it is going to end" why why it is ending....they should have added another 30 minutes. The cast and their roles are perfectly fit. The production values and CG work are top notch. Spoilers ahead: They reduced Alvarkkadiyan role and Vanthiyathevan did all his work by own No Manimegalai role and they used her name, thats it No Kudanthai Jothidar and the complete Kundavai-Vanthiyathevan initial intro scenes. Sol Song is not there in first part Poonkulali character intro was so abrupt and not detailed in the movie. Real disappointment.

The real stress buster movie. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. The stone age spoofs are ultimate and non stop fun. I wanted more of this portion, but the Roman period took most of the portion. To enjoy the fun, I have to pause the movie and read the history like what is Spanish inquisition and French Revolution etc. After watching this, searching for the part II but don't know why it is not made. This is one of the best spoof movie I had ever seen. Beware it has some adult scenes. Now I need search all Mel Brooks's movies and add it into my watchlist.

Nice suspense movie with good message. It was bit boring in the beginning and it gains its momentum slowly. Its a good entertainer and highly enjoyable watch, if you dont judge the sides....There are lot of emotions and deceive in this movie and it was clearly captured with all chat messages. The initial necessity of the journalist and how it evolve as curiosity and how she fall under the spell are superbly shown.... Very good watch and I enjoyed this thriller till the end.

The very first Ranveer film, which I liked full heartedly...Couldn't see the actor in single scene, he lived as Kapil in each and every frame... The best part of the movie is, it has actual foot prints and photos blended in the movie perfectly. Lot of places it was like watching documentary, still goosebumps guaranteed...Deepika is so odd and looked like forced addition in the movie. It is a must watch for every Indian cricket fan....

Tribal life and their rights are cleverly delivered...at some point i forgot that i am watching movie and seeing their pain in real. The cast and locations are so real...The court room drama and the flashbacks are well balanced and at end credits makes the awe... Kudos to Jo and Surya for producing this movie... At any point this movie could become a documentary, but director brilliantly maintained the mainstream movie entertainment throughout the story telling.... Another big advantage is that you will never feel the preaching/advising tone and it is not biased. It delivers the same pain and feeling of the movie "Visaranai".... Must watch
